About Growing Stars Nursery In Harrow
At Growing Stars Nursery, our team is committed to providing a safe, secure and stimulating environment for toddler and preschool children.
Open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, we are here to support the families in our community by offering structured, expert child care when you need it most!
Our team of highly qualified professionals are here to ensure that every child in our care experiences the best possible education experiences, in line with the EYFS and graduates from our nursery ready to face the next step in their developmental journey with enthusiasm, independence and confidence.
Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is based on learning and creativity. By blending indoor and outdoor classrooms and environments in a home-away-from-home environment, we are able to create a space where children feel empowered and ready to learn.
Who We Are
We decided to do things a bit differently at Growing Stars Nursery by creating a space which fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where children from two-to-five-years-old can explore the world around them.
We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships.

In order to achieve the best development for each individual child, we offer a tailored educational environment that focuses on each child's unique stage of development and allows them to grow at their own pace.

All of the activities that we carry out in our rooms are focused on the child’s learning needs, using age suitable stimulation resources to guide them through each developmental stage with care.
Toddler Room
In our Toddler Room, our children can choose from a range of activities to enjoy, organised by our dedicated team, with a staff/child ratio of 1:4.
Pre-school
Our dedicated pre-school room offers a more structured learning environment, preparing our children for their eventual move to school, with a staff/child ratio of 1:8
Merging Teaching and Childcare
We offer a variety of programs and childcare options for toddler and preschool-aged children aged two-to-five.
We believe that it’s never too early to start learning and that it’s vital to always present opportunities for children to learn and grow as soon as they start at our setting.
By developing our programs with curriculum experts and childcare specialists, we’ve been able to hone in on what makes early education a success and created a learning program that allows our children to enter school seamlessly.

Our weekly planning ensures that each child has an equal opportunity to experience activities linked to the EYFS’ seven areas of learning and development.

Our timetables offer a balance of adult-led planning to ensure that we meet the needs of each child ready for their next steps alongside child-led activities that allow children the opportunity to follow their own interests.
Parents will have the opportunity to meet regularly with their child’s key person to discuss any questions and also review their ongoing progress in the nursery.

Growing Stars is an Ofsted registered childcare provider.
